How can people keep their brain sharp and avoid mental health issues on a day-to-day basis?
Physical health has always been a booming industry however, mental health has not been as widely talked about, and sometimes has a stigma.
Proposal: By owning yourself in all aspects it becomes easier to naturally keep your mind sharp. Removing the judgment will allow you to be more present, feel more engaged, and create a better well being for yourself.
Keep asking why to get to the root cause of your thoughts.
Investigate why you feel this way and accept it on a day-to-day basis.
Realize that your emotions are temporary and that you have control over them; take a step back and realize that they will pass.
Drop the labels and expectations of what you should be, what you can be, or what others want you to be.
Change your habits slowly for long lasting success, work on them by giving yourself positive affirmation and celebrating your victories.
Be vulnerable with yourself and others. You do not have to have it all figured out and be anything more than what you are. Talk to others, it is okay;you are human.
Flip your flaw. You will not be great at everything and that's okay; double down on the things that you are good at.
Impact: Opening up about yourself will allow you to feel more whole and create a better sense of self everyday. By humanizing yourself this will also allow others to feel better about themselves and can reciprocate positive self worth amongst one another. Having emotions, feelings, thoughts both positive or negative are all normal; the key is to acknowledge them and realize that they are able to be changed and altered for your benefit.
